STUDIES
Hi! I'm Luigi, how can I help you?

Born in Syracuse, Luigi Zimmitti graduated in clarinet under the guidance of Maestro Vincenzo Di Pietro, beginning a musical journey founded on dedication and excellence. His thirst for knowledge and refinement led him to study with some of the greatest clarinetists on the international scene: Karl Leister, Richard Stoltzman, Romeo Tudorache, Fabrizio Meloni, Vincenzo Mariozzi, Ciro Scarponi, Ronald Van Spaendonch, and Simone Sirugo.
He also attended advanced chamber music courses with Chantal De Buchy, Aldo Tramma, K. Leister, and others, enriching his artistic sensitivity through listening, interaction, and the care of ensemble sound.
His path later expanded to band and wind orchestra conducting, a discipline he deepened with Jo Conyaerts (Netherlands) and Fulvio Creux, through seminars organized by AMBIMA. At the same time, he invested in music pedagogy, training with experts such as G. Piazza, A. Conrado, and C. Paduano, confirming his comprehensive vision of music: not only performance, but also education, transmission, and planning.
Over the years, Luigi has built a solid and versatile career, spanning genres and contexts: from classical music to jazz, from live sax performances for private events to collaborations with symphony orchestras, always demonstrating strong musicality and an innate communicative ability.
Today, Luigi Zimmitti is recognized as a Live Sax Performer capable of bringing originality, elegance, energy, and atmosphere to every type of event, thanks to impeccable technical preparation and artistic sensitivity born from years of study, research, and stage experience.
